Kentucky Actors and US Actors Launch Kentucky Picture Cars
Kentucky Actors and US Actors Launch Kentucky Picture Cars to Supercharge Film Production in The Bluegrass State
In the heart of The Bluegrass State—where rolling bluegrass hills and legendary horse farms stretch endlessly, bourbon distilleries dot the countryside, dramatic Appalachian foothills rise in the east, historic river towns line the Ohio River, and vibrant music-filled communities bring Southern soul to life—filmmaking just got significantly easier and more authentic.
Kentucky Actors, the state’s premier platform connecting local talent with productions, has teamed up with US Actors to officially launch Kentucky Picture Cars. This exciting new service is a specialized division of the award-winning national picture-car leader USA Movie Cars and is built to power film, television, commercial, advertising, and media projects across Kentucky.
Why Kentucky Is Ready for Its Close-Up
Kentucky has long attracted visionary storytellers seeking authentic Southern, Appalachian, and heartland settings that can’t be replicated on a soundstage. From high-stakes horse-racing thrillers and bourbon-family sagas to mountain dramas, Civil War epics, bluegrass music stories, and heartfelt small-town tales, the state’s diverse landscapes deliver unmatched visual storytelling potential.
Yet until now, securing vehicles that truly felt like Kentucky often meant costly shipping, generic rentals, or options that didn’t match the local character. That challenge ends today.
With the launch of Kentucky Picture Cars at https://kentuckypicturecars.com, both local crews and out-of-state productions now have immediate, on-the-ground access to a handpicked fleet of picture-ready vehicles that capture the real spirit of the Bluegrass State.

Fueling Kentucky’s Growing Film Economy
This launch follows the successful expansion model US Actors has used in other states and reflects strong confidence in Kentucky’s rising profile in the entertainment industry. With attractive film tax incentives and an ever-growing list of producers seeking fresh Southern and Appalachian locations, Kentucky Picture Cars removes a major logistical hurdle and helps keep more dollars in the local economy.
Local vehicle owners also come out ahead. Unique Kentucky rides—from restored 1970s farm trucks to one-of-a-kind Derby-inspired builds—can now earn income by joining the fleet and appearing on screen.
